She believes childbirth is not only about bringing a healthy baby into the world, but also about nurturing the long-term well-being of the mother, laying a strong foundation from which both mother and baby can thrive.
Known for fostering deep, trusting relationships, Lori offers continuous care and guidance before, during, and after birth. More than a doula, she is a visionary in the birth world reimagining how pregnancy, birth, and parenthood are experienced and remembered.
Morgan Lynn
Morgan Lynn is a birth and postpartum doula, chef, gardener, and guide for women and families through life’s most precious seasons. Her work centers on preparing the body and home for the transition into parent and childhood through nourishment, routine and supported rest - drawing from Zen Buddhism, Ayurveda, functional nutrition, and seasonality. She has spent years cooking for and supporting families in the weeks before and after birth, witnessing how deeply care - when offered intentionally - shapes not only recovery, but the physical, emotional and spiritual landscape that holds families throughout the precious early years of childhood. This retreat is a celebration and showcase of that work: a space to be held, fed, and witnessed before life expands.

Full board with nourishing meals that support the second trimester system while pleasing the entire group. In Italy we’ll enjoy in-season summer dishes that reflect the incredible local Marchigian cuisine. Quietly abundant, the traditional foods of this region are both rustic and refined - sitting gloriously between the richness of Emilia-Romagna and the perfect simplicity of Umbria. You may encounter stuffed local olives, adriatic fish stew, slow-simmered heritage apennine beef roasts, mountain lamb, handmade flatbreads with egg and olive oil, fresh pasta (of course!), wild greens, and of course the storied white fava bean.
In Switzerland we’ll enjoy the local clean, pastoral way of cooking that draws from surrounding orchards, dairies and the exquisite mineral composition of the glacial alpine soil. Our menus will feature freshwater fish from glorious lake Constance below, fresh apple dishes, regional rosti, fresh cream and quark from local dairies and gentle pastoral fare
